Groan.

Several versions I've found amusing in the past.  I think they all say the same thing. 

- In other words:  If this software doesn’t work: tough.  If you lose millions because this software messes up, it’s you that’s out the millions, not us.  If you don’t like this disclaimer: tough.  We reserve the right to do the absolute minimum provided by law, up to and including nothing.  This is basically the same disclaimer that is written above, but this is in plain English and the above is in legalese.  We didn’t really want to include any disclaimer at all, our lawyer insisted.

Statement of copyright and liability regarding the content of this little corner of the web:

I post this collection of words, images, and thoughts to the world to view, and not to be plagiarized.  It's mostly about old vw cars.  The content contains images predominantly acquired by me via digital camera or scanner.  There are scanned copies of a few old catalogs.  Here I most humbly apologize if you find its availability to the general internet public an offense and would promptly remove such content upon request.  As far as I know, I have never directly gained from their presence.  I am not currently nor ever have been contractually bound to any of the corporations who's appearance may be found in any of said content.  This would also imply that I feel I am not liable for how you, the reader, construes and uses this content.  If you find this objectionable, please change that channel!
